In loving memory of Mr. Ralph Fehland, the Monee Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the Ralph Fehland: Monee Citizen of the Year Award each year to recognize an individual who exemplifies outstanding service and dedication to the Monee community.

This award was established to honor Mr. Fehland, a lifelong Monee resident and a true pillar of our village. His legacy of leadership and civic engagement lives on through this tribute. Throughout his life, Mr. Fehland served as a village trustee, mayor, school board member, Chamber of Commerce President, and fire department leader. His commitment to public service left a lasting impact on the people and progress of Monee.

Through this award, we continue to celebrate the spirit of community that Mr. Fehland embodied.
