  
Residential Living in Our Community
Currently the village has seven residential subdivisions under construction. Three of them, Country Hills, Gorman Farms and Ridgeland Lake Estates, offer larger lots for sale allowing the property owner to build estate-type homes. Each of these three developments has a rural setting with well and septic, but with the benefits of village living.
Country Meadows, The Highlands (one single family, two townhomes), Monee Fairgrounds, Derby Meadows and Walker Grove all offer homes beginning at a base price of $90,000 and up, with Monee Fairgrounds offering a larger lot size of 10,000-square-feet. All of these subdivisions are provided with village water and sanitary sewer.
County Oaks Townhomes are condominium-style facilities close to the I-57 interchange. Many of the residents living there are commuters who find these townhomes, complete with lawn service, the ideal spot for their busy lives.
Golf Vista Estates is a manufactured home Planned Unit Development, designed especially for village residents age 55 and older, complete with a nine-hole golf course.
A number of village residents who raised their families in Monee, have sold their homes that are now too large for them and moved into Golf Vista Estates. This development has a very calm and sow-paced atmosphere where many of the residents can be seen daily, walking through the subdivision or playing golf.
